- Explanation of basic requirements for the assessment of building structures on fire protection aspect. Getting the basic inventory of precautions to ensure the protection of health and property of buildings` users and owners.

- Fire safety of buildings, regulations, legislation Main principles of fire safety of buildings Fire resistance of building structures Behavior of materials (wood, steel, concrete, plastics) in the fire Fire protection of materials Effects of fire on stress and deformation of structures Fire resistance of expansion joints Fire walls, fire-resistant ceilings, fire closures, openings Problems of fire fighting in high-rise buildings Systems of extinguishers, extinguishing agents and their applications Project documentation of the fire safety of buildings Preventive measures, relevance, effectiveness Examples of fires resulting from the implementation or design bugs
