For the administration of professional practice, the VŠTE Information System uses an application called “Practice” (hereinafter referred to as the “Practice Application”). This application is available in the VŠTE Information System (hereinafter referred to as “IS”). Access to the practice application is provided to students in connection with the enrolment in the administrative course “Practice Administration” with the code “APX”. Course enrolment is generally governed by the currently valid academic year schedule.

Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The goal of professional practice is to consolidate and apply knowledge from professional subjects and acquire practical habits and skills needed for the performance of the chosen profession. The goal of professional practice is also the necessary fulfillment of learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes
General learning outcomes valid for all programs of the Institute of Technology: - use general managerial and communication knowledge and skills, including teamwork; - search, sort and interpret information, including foreign language sources; - make independent decisions and solve common work and non-work problems and choose the optimal solution option; - express themselves in written and oral form in various work situations; - work with a personal computer, with its basic and application software and other resources, and effectively use adequate sources of information; - independently acquire additional professional knowledge, skills and abilities, both on the basis of practice and by self-study of the theoretical knowledge of the program; - act according to the principles of critical technical thinking; - take on different team roles and participate in expert discussion when formulating conclusions, present the results of your work and defend them in front of an audience. Exam conditions
At the end of the internship, the student prepares learning outcomes corresponding to the requirements of the guarantee workplace. It is about: - work diary confirmed by the supervisor with the company's stamp and the student's signature, - a completed report on the completed internship together with the stamp of the company and the trainer's signature, - assessment of practice by the student, - creating a final report, - presentation and defense of practice results at the guarantee workplace according to the requirements set out in the course annotation. The internship is evaluated on the basis of a form (protocol), including a job description, a work diary and on the basis of the above submitted materials. The student must best fulfill all the required learning outcomes, required as part of completing the semester internship. The presentation and defense of the final report on completion of professional practice will be oral. The guarantor of the program appoints at least a three-member panel that will assess the fulfillment of the learning outcomes of the student's given internship. Only on the basis of a successful defense will the student receive credit for the subject Professional practice. In the event that the student is not able to fulfill all the set learning outcomes during the internship, the guarantee workplace, or the department, in cooperation with the guarantor of the Professional Practice subject, will ensure subsequent additions so that the required outputs are fulfilled in accordance with the study plan and the profile of the graduate of the study program.
