- The aim of the course is to introduce the student to pedagogical studies, to provide him/her with basic knowledge of pedagogical terminology and also to outline the philosophical and historical foundations of this field.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course, the learner
- understands the basic terminology of pedagogy and education and their relationship to other sciences
- gain a basic overview of pedagogy and education. - Syllabus
- 1. Basic issues of pedagogy, problems and specifics of pedagogy, structure of pedagogy and its relation to other sciences. A short historical overview of pedagogy.
- 2. The subject of modern pedagogy, the educational process.
- 3. The concept of education and its main features. Aims, educational means and conditions of education.

- Successful completion of the course requires a minimum of 70% of the final grade under the conditions set out below. A total of 100 points, i.e. 100%, can be obtained in the final assessment. The overall classification of the course, i.e. points for the final evaluation (100 - 0): Z~100 - 70, X 69,99 - 30, N 29,99 - 0.
