- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The course provides students through exercises, the theoretical foundations of various treatment processes in engineering materials. In the second part of the course is to provide students with the basics of machining technology of materials and construction of selected materials. During the semester, students will be able to virtually try cutting in workshops on various types of machine tools. Subject "Materials in engineering practice" will build on part of the Material Science I and II. Acquired knowledge: - Students will be able to characterize the basic processes in a more detailed study of processing materials used in current engineering practice - students will have theoretical and practical knowledge of processing both conventional and latest materials technology and material processing. Acquired skills: - the student will be able to use his knowledge processing technologies and metallurgical processing of material to deciding how to use them - the student will be able to apply theoretical knowledge to manage the production of workpieces made of different materials The student will know the procedure and methodology for complex and time-consuming tests ratings liquid phase metallic materials on the basis of visual methodology. Students will be motivated to study the subject with classroom-training base Departments Engine - Jikov the possibilities of its use for processing undergraduate work.
