Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The course provides students with lectures and exercises, the theoretical foundations of welding processes of metals and non-metals with various technologies. Students will know the basics of theory and technology of welding procedure. During the semester, the student will be able to try out in practice in school workshops welding of different materials. Acquainted with the various kinds of metals and non-metals welding and soldering. The subject "Technology of welding of metals and non-metals" will follow the welding portion of the subject Engineering Technology II.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to:
- to describe and identify the technologies of welding of metals and non-metals by various technologies
- to describe and identify the technology of bandsaw and non-metal process by various technologies

  • 1. Introduction to welding technology, the distribution of technologies and their impact on the material; 2.Materiály suitable for welding, labeling and classification of welds; 3.Technology of flame welding; 4.Technologie arc welding; 5.Tepelně affected zone (TOO) equilibrium diagram Fe - Fe3C; 6th Weldability; 7.Zkoušky weldability test notch toughness, Návarová bend test, a test of brittleness nedestruktivnízkoušky quality of welded joints; 8.Sváření under flux, resistance welding;9.Elektro chip welding, gas shielded; 10.Progresívní welding technology, electron beam welding; 11.Svařování laser; 12.Plazmové welding; 13.Production soldered.
