The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim is to present technical parameters of thermal structures in order to minimize the energy performance of buildings.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course the student is able to summarize the basic requirements of thermal and technical standards; S/he is able to control the heat calculation program, Area, Energy (Freedom Software) S/he can design a track structure enveloping the heated area; S/he can calculate and assess the heat transfer coefficient, the average heat transfer coefficient, linear thermal transmittance, a minimum surface temperature, water vapor condensation.

Exam conditions
Write 1 final test for 70% of 70 points (14 questions of 5 points each). Up to 30 points can be obtained from exercises from the exercises, which must be submitted before the exam (evaluation of tasks 0-30 points). The maximum number of points from both parts is 100. To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve at least 70 points, ie 70%. Overall classification of the subject, ie points for the test (70 - 0) + points from the continuous assessment (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76,99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0.
