Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint with the importance of organizational culture and organizational behavior for the performance of the organization, the quality of its production and the way of its communication inside and outside. The main topics of the course include factors, components, impacts and internal and external manifestations of organizational culture, its main types, tools for creating and managing changes in organizational culture, the principles of a healthy company culture and tools for its strengthening. Other topics of the course include the ethical culture of the organization, the relationship between organizational culture and leadership, and tools for empirical analysis of organizational cultures.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
- understands the importance of organizational culture and values of the organization as a tool for managing the organization,
- understands external and internal manifestations of organizational culture and organizational behavior,
- understands the typologies of organizational cultures,
- understands the internal and external circumstances influencing the origin, formation and development of organizational culture,
- understands and designs tools for managing and changing organizational culture, organizes their practical use, performs empirical analysis of organizational culture and ethical culture of the organization.

The evaluation of the course consists of a continuous evaluation (30 - 0 points) and a final test (70 - 0 points). The overall classification is the sum of the points from the mid-term evaluation and the final evaluation. Overall classification of the subject, ie points from the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0 points): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76, 99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0.

Teacher's information
During the semester, the student continuously consults his / her teacher with the combined and full-time form of study. Demonstration of the processing of individual passages of the work during the semester (according to the teacher's instructions by e-mail or by inserting it into the relevant delivery room in IS VŠTE). In the event that the sum of points obtained from the continuous assessment and seminar work is less than 70, the student has the right to correction during the examination period (within the deadlines set by the teacher). Attendance at classes in all forms is governed by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Records of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance at seminars is mandatory.

Students with an individual study plan will only be assessed through a 100-point final test in the exam period. However, students are required to contact the instructor immediately upon approval of the Individual Study Plan (ISP); if the student fails to do so, the student's ISP will be disregarded. If they have any questions, they can contact the course supervisor via email lizbetinova@mail.vstecb.cz.

Combined study students submit their scored assignments by 15.5.2022 and their term paper by 22.5.2022 in the submission place of the subject in IS (https://is.vstecb.cz/auth/el/vste/leto2022/RLZ_OKU/ode/11195/?fakulta=5610;obdobi=202;kod=RLZ_OKU;predmet=26523).
