Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about the problems of failures of building structures and the possibility of their repairs, reconstructions and renovations. This applies to buildings of a terrestrial nature (residential buildings, buildings of civic amenities, industrial and agricultural buildings), including historic and listed buildings. The issue of masonry structures, wooden structures of ceilings and trusses, remediation of wet masonry and structural and physical failures will be discussed in detail.
Learning outcomes
On the basis of completing the course, the student will very well understand the issues of masonry structures, wooden structures of ceilings and trusses, remediation of wet masonry and structural and physical defects.
