The student has the essential knowledge of English language at the level of A2 and is able to perform basic communication skills based on the elementary knowledge of the language. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- The target of the course AED_4 is to extend the basic language skills necessary for the common written and spoken communication in the studied language. After the successful completion of the course, the students gain the following skills:
- ability to understand meaning of short messages or announcements
- ability to read short and simple texts (personal letter, schedule, etc.)
- partial mantaining a short social conversation
- creation of short writings (acknowledgements, short letters)
The students are prepared to gradually achieve the fixed output level of A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in their productive and receptive skills at the end of the semester. The range of set topics - units 4-6 of the required literature. - Syllabus
