The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim is to present health and technical installations and gas distribution. After successful completion of the course students can apply knowledge of medical technology in developing the project sewage, water and gas. The student is able to design these systems by using knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, materials, water supply facilities and gas, water needs and balance gas of standard calculations, typology fixtures, disposal of waste water lines, sewer systems, internal, water and gas.
Syllabus
  • 1) Medical Equipment - typology and fittings, hydraulic pipe.
  • 2) Necessity of water supply water objects, water connection.
  • 3) The internal water supply, water supply fire.
  • 4) Calculation of internal water mains.
  • 5) Hot water - parameters, tank heating, heat flow.
  • 6) Waste water outside drains, sewer connections.
  • 7) The internal drains, underground drainage, sewer fittings, overdraft effluent drainage of paved surfaces.
  • 8) Protection of sewage from unwanted substances.
  • 9) Design of sewer pipes, wastewater disposal.
  • 10) History of gas industry, overview of fuel gases and their composition.
  • 11) Natural gas - distribution, compression, storage, connections, gas pressure regulators, gas meters.
  • 12) Domestic gas, appliances - connecting, placement and operation.
  • 13) Calculation of household gas, flue gas from gas appliances.
