The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students with the principles of designing and construction of transportation projects with a respect to their utilization for transport. Student after completing the course perceives transport structures from the view of a technical traffic specialist, uses specialized terminology and knows the principles of designing of roads, railways, bridges, underground structures - tunnels and airports. Graduent of the course is partially able to design sub-sections of linear structures and is able to describe them schematically.

Exam – written 70 %
Seminary Work 30 %
Exam conditions
For seminary work student can receive a maximum of 30 points and needs to meet at least 60%, (minimum is 18 points). Instructions for seminary work determined at the beginning of the semester by the teacher.

A written examination may receive a maximum of 70 points and must be met at 60% (minimum is 42 points). Total score represents the sum of points for the seminary work and written examination.

Grading Scale:

A: 93-100 points

B: 85-92

C: 77-84

D: 68-76

E: 60-67

FX: 30-59

F: 0-29
