Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Basics of operating of interactive graphic system in 2D AutoCAD. Setting up of the user interface and input parameters of a drawing, reading basic menus or pull-down menu, toolbars, palettes, command and order functions. Knowledge of gripping modes, drawing objects, modifying objects, using layers, hatching, dimensioning, text notes and use tables, static blocks, print from model space.
Syllabus
  • - AutoCAD introduction, Configuration and basic settings - Coordinate systems - Work with levels - Types of lines and measure lines - Dimensioning and hatching styles - entering orders using the pull-down menus, toolbars, or command line - Creation of simple objects drawings (point, line, circle, ...) - Creation of complex objects drawing (component commands - the field, mirror, ...) - Editing drawing features (finishing touches and additional adjustments - cropping, extending, rounding, distribution,layout ...) - Creation of blocks - Creation and editing of texts - Work with reference files - Basic print settings and printing files

Exam conditions
This is an elaboration of the construction drawing. The scope of work, proper use of levels, lines, dimensions and hatches is assessed. Score corresponds to the procentage ratio of these evaluation methods. Term project can reach the maximum of 60 points, final test maximum of 30 points, printing maximum of 10 points. The student needs at least 75 points to pass the course.
