The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of organizing the operation processes in freight transport, with the emphasis on rail and road freight transport as two of the strongest transport modes in the Czech Republic. Students will be acquainted with the technological procedures of transport by individual full loaded wagons, consignments in complete trains as well as special transports by rail. In the field of road freight transport, the student is acquainted with the technological procedures for the transport of individual shipments and bulk substrates under normal and special conditions. Emphasis will also be put on international transport.
Learning outcomes
The student is be able to solve the problems of organizing the transport and is be able to arrange the order of the railway transport and the road transport.

Grading of the course: First Test/Seminar Work/ … : maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84,C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.
