- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The focus of the teaching, and therefore the main goal of the course, consists in getting to know the key concepts of administrative law, i.e. the concept and system of public administration and administrative law, the sources and relationships of administrative law, the legal regulation of the organization of public administration, forms of administrative activities and external (especially judicial) control of public administration. During teaching, special emphasis will be placed not only on the interrelationships of administrative law and other legal fields (mainly constitutional, but also, for example, financial law), but also with other scientific disciplines.
- Learning outcomes
- After successfully completing the course, the student:
1. Orients himself in the systematics and terminology of administrative law.
2. Understands the essence of the organization of public administration in the Czech Republic.
3. Understands the typology of administrative processes and the differences between them.
4. Recognizes a specific act of law application by the public administration.
5. Knows the basic relationships between public administration and administrative courts. - Syllabus

- 1. Practicing the concept and system of public administration on concrete examples (what belongs and what does not belong to public administration, how to get to know a public institution or activity, etc.)
- 2. Work with selected regulations of administrative law, familiarization with their structure, practice in basic orientation in them
- 3. Identification of key features of administrative law relations on concrete examples and their classification under theoretical categories
- 4. Practicing the characteristics and ranking of public administration institutions using specific examples
- 5. Examples of forms of administrative activities in everyday practice
- 6. Administrative proceedings from the point of view of an administrative authority, a party to the proceedings or a person involved in the proceedings (witness, expert...)
- 7. Examples of types of administrative offenses in specific situations
- 8. Practicing the identification and classification of specific types of correct control processes
- 9. Practicing the identification and classification of specific types of external control of public administration
- 10. Administrative justice, especially from the point of view of the party to the proceedings, judicial evaluation of evidence
- 11. Practical examples of public use, expropriation and other forms of public restrictions on property rights
- 12. Model examples of specific labor law and similar relationships in public administration

- To successfully complete the subject, it is necessary to achieve 70% under the specified conditions.Overall classification of the subject, i.e. the body for the written test (100-0): A 100 – 90, B 89.99 – 84, C 83.99 – 77, D 76.99 – 73, E 72.99 – 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0.A full-time student is required to attend contact classes (lecture and seminar) with a mandatory 70% attendance. If attendance is not met, the student will automatically be graded "-".

- Students with an Individual Study Plan (ISP) are obliged to contact the teacher no later than in the first week of the semester or immediately after its approval with a request to arrange the teaching system and the end of the course, in case the student fails to do so, his/her ISP will not be taken into account.
