- The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about management principles with the help of corporate information systems. The course will help students to orient themselves in the types of applications that can be practically used in business processes. An integral part of the subject is the perception of the economic overlap of information systems. The issue of the course is related to the current turbulent environment, where data and information are a source for successful business decisions. For this reason, the aim of the course is also to present the basic principles of security and protection of company data.
- Learning outcomes
- After successful completion of the course, the student:
1. understands the principles of management and projection of the relationship between business and business process with the support of IS/IT,
2. can create the concept of information and communication systems and implement them,
3. orients himself in the types of applications that can be used in business processes,
4. understands the economic aspects of information systems,
5. knows the principles of security and protection of company data. - Syllabus

In order to successfully complete the subject, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% in the interim and final assessment under the conditions set out below. 30 points, i.e. 30%, can be obtained in the continuous assessment. A total of 70 points, i.e. 70%, can be obtained in the final assessment. Overall classification of the subject, i.e. points for final assessment (70 - 0) + points from interim assessment (30 - 0): A 100 – 90, B 89.99 – 84, C 83.99 – 77, D 76.99 – 73, E 72.99 – 70, FX 69.99 – 30, F 29.99 – 0.
A full-time student is required to attend contact classes, i.e. everything except for lectures, with a mandatory 70% attendance. If attendance is not met, the student will automatically be graded "-".

- Teacher's information
- Students in the full-time form of study are obliged to participate in 70 % of the lessons (except for lectures). If this condition is not fulfilled, the student will automatically get “-” grade.
The assessment of students with an individual study plan (ISP) will consist of an interim assessment (an essay according to the assignment specified in the IS, however without the need to present it - max. 30 points) and a final assessment (final test - max. 70 points). Students with ISP are obliged to contact the teacher of their seminar group immediately after approval of their individual study plan, if the student does not do so within two weeks of approval at the latest, his ISP will not be taken into account.
