Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will gain an overview of expert and expert activities in economic and technical fields in the Czech Republic. Students understand the historical context of the development of the profession, they also know the basic legislative regulations governing expert activities in the Czech Republic. Students know selected international regulations in the field of knowledge and control the basic concepts and approaches to valuation.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
1. Understands the historical development of expert activity
2. Understands the role of the expert, his rights and duties and responsibilities
3. Understands the role of an expert in the field
4. Distinguish between the terms value and price.
5. Knows the legislation governing expert activities in the Czech Republic

Teacher's information
Attendance in all forms of teaching is dealt with in a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Recording of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance at seminars is compulsory. Students with an individual study plan will take a final test in the course in the examination period. Students are obliged to contact the instructor immediately after the approval of the Individual Study Plan (ISP), in case the student fails to do so, his/her ISP will not be taken into account.
