Abstract
The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on Internet of Things-enabled smart cities. Using and replicating data from Bloom-berg Intelligence, ESI ThoughtLab, Frost & Sullivan, KPMG, and McKinsey, the authors performed analyses and made estimates regarding big data-driven decision-making processes in the knowledge-based urban economy. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.

Cílem této práce je syntetizovat a analyzovat existující důkazy o inteligentních městech podporujících internet věcí. Pomocí a replikace dat z Bloom-berg Intelligence, ESI ThoughtLab, Frost & Sullivan, KPMG a McKinsey provedli autoři analýzy a odhady týkající se velkých rozhodovacích procesů založených na datech ve znalostní městské ekonomice. Data byla analyzována pomocí modelování strukturální rovnice.
