Modern fishery and aquaculture need the support of image processing for analysis of the health status of fish sperms to produce high-quality population. This manuscript describes some problems during imaging of the sperm cells and presents methods of image processing for automatic detection of the cell. The article also describes which features of the sperm should be measured.

Moderní rybolov a akvakultura potřebují podporu zpracování obrazu pro analýzu zdravotního stavu rybích spermií za účelem produkce vysoce kvalitní populace. Tento rukopis popisuje některé problémy při zobrazování spermií a představuje metody zpracování obrazu pro automatickou detekci buňky. Článek také popisuje, které charakteristiky spermií by měly být měřeny.
