Heslo v odborné encyklopedii o generálním sněmu zemí Koruny české z roku 1348, který svolal Karel IV. Lucemburský. Sněm se věnoval státoprávnímu zakotvení českého státu v rámci Svaté říše římské, vymezení pojmu instituce zemí České koruny a založení pražské univerzity. České stavy reprezentovala vyšší šlechta a vyšší duchovenstvo. Na sněmu král pravděpodobně předložil českým stavům zákoník, takřečenou Codex Carolinus (Majestas Carolina), který ale nikdy nebyl českou šlechtou přijat.
In English
An entry in an expert encyclopedia about the general council of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown in 1348 that was summoned by Charles IV of Luxembourg. The council focused on constitutional law of the Bohemian state within the Holy Roman Empire, determining the term of the institutions of the lands of the Bohemian Crown, and the establishment of the Prague University. Bohemian estates were represented by higher nobility and higher clergy. At the council, the king probably presented the Bohemian estates with the Codex Carolinus (Majestas Carolina), which was never accepted by Bohemian nobility.
