Článek objasňuje několik teorií, které se věnují problematice motivace v různých oborech lidské činnosti. V úvodu podává vysvětlení pojmů „motivace“, „motiv“, „stimul“, „impuls“, „aktivace“, „frustrace“ a „deprivace“. Dále se věnuje otázce vztahů mezi motivací a výkonem a souvztažnost motivace k práci. Hlavní část článku je zaměřena na tyto teorie: ERG teorie (Existence, Realatedness, Growth), jejímž zastáncem byl Clayton Paul Alderfer. Dále představuje Herzbergovu teorii motivace. Jako třetí teorie je uvedena teorie motivace úspěchů od Davida McClellanda, který vidí jako hlavní hybatele veškeré činnosti úspěch, moc, sdružování a vyrovnávání. Vroomova teorie expektace zahrnuje faktory očekávání, prostředky a valence. Poslední teorie vyzdvihuje úlohu spravedlnosti. Jejím představitelem je John Stacey Adams. Článek je věnován úloze motivace jako nejdůležitějšímu faktoru ze všech fází učení. Jak se nabudit a přimět sama sebe či studenty ke každodennímu studiu? Z tohoto důvodu je motivace je velice závažný proces, kterému je třeba se podrobněji věnovat.

Article explains several theories that deal with the issue of motivation in various fields of human activity. The introduction explains the concepts of "motivation", "motif", "incentive", "pulse", "activate", "frustration" and "deprivation". It also discusses the question of the relation between motivation and performance and correlation motivation to work. The main part of the article focuses on the following theory: ERG theory (Existence, Realatedness, Growth) which has been advocated by Paul Clayton Alderfer. It also presents Herzberg's theory of motivation. The third theory is the theory of achievement motivation by David McClelland, who sees as the main driver for all the best of luck, too, matching and balancing. Vroom expectancy theory factors include the expectations, resources and valence. Last theory highlights the role justice. Its leader is John Stacey Adams. The article is devoted to the role of motivation as the most important factor of all phases of learning. How to energize and get yourself or students to study everyday? Therefore, the incentive is very serious process which needs to be further addressed.
