This paper is about scientific research on women in business and some aspects in the development of Tourism in the Region of South Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Women in Business was first a conference for university students and then it was the subject of an undergraduate course at the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. Research was done regarding women in the boardroom in Italy, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. Tourism in South Bohemia deals with the perception of tourists regarding the quality of what is being offered in these locations and the offerings on touristic trails in South Bohemia.

Tento článek se zabývá výzkumem problematiky žen v podnikání na vybranými aspekty rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Jihočeském kraji. Tato tématika byla nejprve projednávána na konferenci vysokoškolských studentů a poté se stalo toto téma předmětem vysokoškolského kurzu na Jihočeské univerzitě v Českých Budějovicích. Další část se věnuje rozvoji a kvalitě cestovního ruchu v Jihočeském kraji.
