Abstract
Abstract (in Czech)
Hotovostní peněžní oběh v České republice tvoří bankovky, mince a pamětní mince.
Abstract (in English)
Cash circulation in the Czech Republic is composed of banknotes, coins and commemorative coins. The structure of money in circulation according to the state of the date December 31, 2011 implies that 97.2% in absolute terms 400.3 billion CZK falls into banknotes, 2.6% in absolute terms 10.6 billion CZK into coins and 0.2% in absolute terms 1 billion CZK into commemorative coins. The article will be focused particularly on Czech banknotes and their security features, which make up the vast majority of cash circulation in the Czech Republic. A very intensive trade exchange of goods and services has been taking place between Czech Republic and Slovakia that is necessary to be paid and just the knowledge of security features of bankonotes stands out very significantly here. This article is focused not only on the description of security features of banknotes, from both obverse and reverse sides, but it also describes the various printing techniques being used in the print, and which contribute to the high-level graphic quality of banknotes as well as complicate their illegal imitation and thereby protect the credibility of the currency.
