- At the end of the course students should be acquainted with: advanced materials in mechanical engineering; advanced technologies in mechanical engineering; methods and instrument for analysis of materials in mechanical engineering; methods and instrument in technologies of mechanical engineering;

- 1. Advanced metallic structural materials 2. Advanced non-metallic structural materials 3. Nanocomposite materials 4. Biocompatible materials 5. Technology of forming 6. Technology of casting 7. Soldering and welding 8. Machining 9. Powder metallurgy 10. Quality. quality assessment systems 11. Evaluation of physical properties of materials 12. Evaluation of chemical composition and structure of materials 13. Evaluation of mechanical properties of materials In terms of subject will be also practice - oriented exercise in laboratories of machine department in of Faculty Military Technology University defences in Brno and by partner's organization.
