- The student is required to familiarize themselves with the regulations governing the completion of professional internship.
Enrollment for the internship is possible no earlier than from the fourth semester of study.
The student formally registers for the professional internship by enrolling in the administrative course “Internship Administration” with the code “APX” in the given semester. This enrollment automatically confirms that the student will undertake the professional internship during that period in accordance with the requirements of their study program. Registration for the course “APX” is considered an official confirmation of the commencement of the internship and serves as the starting point for further administrative and organizational steps. Course registration takes place during the regular registration period specified in the current academic year schedule. The registration procedure is identical to standard course registration, i.e., via the section Student – Course Registration – Add Courses by Template or by entering the course code.
The registration dates are specified in the valid Academic Year Schedule.
After selecting the contractual partner (the company where the internship will be carried out), the student contacts the respective partner and ensures that the Internship Acceptance Protocol is completed and signed by the responsible representative of the partner organization, the supervisor, and the student. The protocol is available in the PRAXE application within the task sets. The completed and signed protocol must be submitted electronically in the PRAXE application within 15 working days from the approval of the internship at the respective partner organization. Without this protocol, the student is not allowed to begin the internship.
The student cannot proceed to the internship defense without preparing and submitting the Final Report. The student will be contacted and informed by the internship coordinator regarding the details and deadlines for submitting the Final Report.
Once the internship account reaches the required value, the student must, within 15 days, upload all the required documents into the Information System – PRAXE application – Task Sets:
A confirmed Work Log (confirmation means verification of the correctness of the information provided in the work log by the supervisor’s signature together with the company’s/institution’s stamp and the student’s signature).
A confirmed Internship Completion Protocol (confirmation means completion of the form along with the company’s/institution’s stamp and the supervisor’s signature).
The Student’s Evaluation of the Internship.
Successful defense of the Final Report from the course Professional Internship before the examination committee.
If not all learning outcomes are met, the missing areas will be supplemented through e-learning.
