- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge in the field of pedagogical practice, while the course of pedagogical practice will include lectures needed for the preparation and successful management of pedagogical practice. The student will be introduced to the issues of pedagogical practice through listening (observation) in the selected high school in a total hourly allowance of 5 hours, then will implement 5 separate outputs - will teach five lessons at a particular vocational high school.
- Learning outcomes
- During and at the end of pedagogical practice: - students submit a pedagogical diary for the credit, which will contain: preparation of all lessons, their final reflections and observation records (from listening and teaching). After completing the course, the student is able to plan and process a project for a lesson, can create written preparation for teaching and can apply theoretical knowledge to pedagogical practice.
- Syllabus
- 3 hours: Pedagogical practice - part of professional training - goals and organization of pedagogical practice. Development of professional competencies during pedagogical practice - key competencies of students of the pedagogical minimum. Planning, implementation and reflection of the teaching process. Teacher preparation for teaching - steps of teaching design. Lesson - classification of lessons, design of lessons. Self-reflection in the process of pedagogical practice - definition of the concept of self-reflection, conditions for the implementation of self-reflection, methods and techniques of self-reflection. Questionnaire of the student / teacher / teacher during pedagogical practice (teacher's observation record). 6 hours: 5 hours - Listening (observation) in the chosen vocational high school 1 hour - feedback in the form of discussion 6 hours: teaching five lessons in the chosen vocational high school 1 hour - feedback
