Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to get students familiar with the basics and processes related to business management and planning for effective implementation of production processes in the segments of value chains.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
- apply the objectives, principles, specificities, and trends of production processes management,
- apply the objectives, principles, specificities, and trends of production processes planning,
- apply product and production process innovations,
- manage defining the basic terms and functions of planning within a management system,
- manage business planning and systemic thinking,
- manage the preparation of production processes,
- manage the planning process and progress of the planning process,
- apply the planning process and indicators for individual areas,
- manage economic efficiency and planning of production processes,
- evaluate methods applied in production processes planning and management,

In order to successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% of the continuous and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. 30 points, ie 30%, can be obtained in the continuous evaluation. Overall classification of the course, ie points for the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76,99 - 73, E 72,99 - 70, FX 69,99 - 30, F 29,99 - 0 If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "F". Continuous assessment: seminar work - 30 points (ie 30%); Final evaluation: Final test - 70 points (ie 70%)
