- The target of the course is an integration of the input level of students' language skills minimally at A2+ to B1- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Langugages and a providing students with language knowledge and skills at least to level A2 + to B1- for daily communication to handle common tasks that are of immediate relevance (e.g. basic information about yourself and your family, about shopping, local names, employment).
- Learning outcomes
- After the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to: - understand a very simple text containing information about people's everyday life, - understand the main information to be given in short simple and clear reports and communications, - agree with others about what they will do, about the meeting and activities, - briefly describe aspects of everyday life, - write a short and simple email.

Grading of the course: Final Test 70% (0 – 70 points) and continuous evaluation 30% (0-30). The final test requires A2 to B1- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points (from both parts together).
Part-time form of study
Final Test 100 % (0 – 100 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points.

- Classes will be realized via MS Teams in real time according to the relevant timetable.
Participation in all forms of education is solved by a separate internal norm of VŠTE (Evidence of attendance of students at VŠTE). 70% attendance at seminars and tutorials is obligatory for full-time students.
