- The aim of the course will enable absoloventům solve problems of medium difficulty of chemistry and chemical technology engineering praxi- in engineering. Subject summarizes the basic knowledge in the field of general, inorganic and organic chemistry. The aim is to obtain an overview of the content of technical terms and interrelated phenomena and properties of elements. Students are familiar with chemical calculations and basic characteristics of selected elements and compounds.
- Syllabus
- 1. Basics of chemical bonds, atomic nucleus, the wave function, atomic orbitals, Quantum numbers, Pauli exclusion principle, the frequency of the valence electron configuration sphere. 2. Energy bond, bond, theory of molecular orbitals, hybridization of atomic orbitals, the classification of chemical bonds, a weak interaction between molecules, van der Waals forces, hydrogen bond bridge, covalent bond. 3. Classification of chemicals classification of elements, periodic law periodic table of elements, nomenclature of inorganic compounds. 4. Chemical reactions, types of chemical reactions, energy changes during the reactions, reaction kinetics, catalysis, chemical equilibrium reaction. Fifth Acids and bases, Lewis theory of acids and bases, and expressing acidity zásadnosti substances, pH, solutions, mass and molar concentration, weight and mole fraction, the dissociation equilibrium constant, solubility agents, solubility of solids. 6. Chemistry nonmetals, hydrogen (physical and chemical properties, laboratory preparation, industrial production, hydrides), oxygen (appearance, physical and chemical properties, oxide, hydrogen peroxide, ozone, laboratory preparation, industrial production), rare gases. Seventh Halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, astatine), bonding of halogen, halogen-chemical properties, binary compounds of halogens, halogen-oxygen compounds, the production of technically important halogen compounds. 8th Chalcogenes (sulfur, selenium, tellurium), nitrogen, phosphorus, chemical properties chalkogens, sulfides, oxides, producing significant technical production compounds technically important compounds. 9th carbon, silicon, boron, carbon valence, physical and chemical properties, laboratory preparation, manufacturing technically important compounds of carbon, silicon, boron. 10th elemental metals and transition metal chemistry, production and use of metals, the technical meaning sources, chemistry non-transition metals, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, physical and chemical properties, production, technical meaning resources. 11th Organic compounds linkages and structure in organic compounds, classification of organic compounds and their nomenclature, classification of the reaction, saturated hydrocarbons, with the double and triple bonds, hydrocarbon derivatives cyklosloučeniny. 12th Alcohols, nitro compounds, amines, aldehydes, carboxylic acids, physical and chemical properties, manufacturing, technical meaning.
