Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain expertise and practical skills in   operation and management of hotels and other accommodation facilities. Students will clarify the role of individual sections of the hotel's operation, described their physical and technical security and explains the basic procedures of work of employees of these departments. Furthermore, the course will provide basic knowledge of   food industry, kitchen technology, preparation and implementation of social events in   accommodation facilities.
After completing the course the student:
• will know the basic rules of operation of hotels and other accommodation establishments
• be able to describe the operating segments and at their operating facilities
• will have an overview of   workload of operational staff positions
• can analyze individual operational processes respectively. these processes to innovate
• will have an overview of basic technological adaptations   Food
• Have a basic knowledge in the field of food production
