Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Introduction of the course explains the basic concepts and problems of strength. They discussed the mechanical properties homogeneous isotropic linear elastic material including a description of the basic methods of learning, and also the general theorem linear elasticity. It addresses the definition, classification and geometrical properties of the cross section of the beam. The greatest attention is devoted to simple stress rod tension, compression, torsion, bending. In detail, it also addresses the buckling stability of bars. In the end solves description of stress in the body section, yield stress and plasticity is indicated problems combined loading.
