- The aim of the course is to teach students the basics of scientific work and how to use them in its processing. After successful completion, students will be able to independently work on a selected topic using their own professional knowledge and skills, professional literature, internal materials of companies, formulate conclusions and defend them.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful passing of the course, the student will:
understands the issues related to the topic of the qualification thesis,
can work with literary sources and datasets,
can formulate research questions, hypotheses,
knows and applies advanced research methods,
can formulate conclusions drawn from the solution of a given problem,
can present and defend a qualification thesis. - Syllabus
- Course syllabus: 1. Selecting and applying for a diploma thesis topic 2. Thesis abstract 3. Introduction 4. Aim and research questions 5.-6. Literature search, working with sources, citations 7. Data and methods 8.-9. Results 10. Discussion 11. Contribution of the thesis 12-13. Preparation of the presentation for the defence of the qualification thesis
