- The aim of the course is to provide students with the basics of pedagogical methodology and student evaluation, especially with regard to their subsequent use in pedagogical practice
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course, students
- knows the specifics of research in the social sciences;
- is familiar with the basic forms and methods of research, including their purpose and use;
- applies methods in real research;
- can interpret research results;
- can diagnose a student and a class;
- can interpret research results. - Syllabus
- Syllabus of direct teaching
- 1. Specific peculiarities of research in social sciences. Basic, applied, empirical, qualitative research - purpose, use.
- 2. Methodology of pedagogical research. Division of methods and their use. Analysis of research material, interpretation of results.
- 3. Adequate research tools, validity, reliability, correlation coefficients. Observation, scaling, interview, methods of verbal statements.
- 4. Projective method, experiment. Theory and creation of a didactic test, design of a prototype of a didactic test, verification and optimization of a didactic test, standardized test.
- 5. Diagnostic analyzes and assessment of didactic tests. Possibilities of application of methods in related scientific fields.
