- The aim of the course is to expand the student's knowledge to the level corresponding to level B2- according to the Common Framework of Reference for Languages and further gradual development of communication skills.

- Student - understands common and specialized topics practised within the course - is able to communicate in all situations of everyday life - is able to communicate both verbally and in writing in the specific situations related to their field of study practised within the course - is able to explain and reason their opinions in terms of the specific topics related to their field of study practised within the course - has a command of common and professional vocabulary corresponding to the required level of language

Evaluation for full-time study and part-time study: Continuous evaluation within the semester (eg. presentation, written presentation, listening). 30 % - Exam conditions
- Full-time study and part-time study:
Written test in the exam period (70%) and continuous assessment (e.g. presentation, written presentation, listening) during the semester (30%). Overall classification of the course for full-time and part-time students, i.e. points for the test (70 - 0) + points from the continuous assessment (30 - 0): included 100 - 70, possibility to repeat the test 69.99 - 30, not included 29, 99 - 0. Successful graduates of the course have to get at least 70 points (from both parts together).

- Teaching takes place on the premises of the university. For the full-time form of study, attendance at seminars is mandatory according to the Attendance Directive, where 70% attendance at seminars is mandatory. Attendance is not monitored for students of the combined form of study. Continuous assessment of students of the combined form of study will take place at the last seminar. Students with an individual study plan (ISP) will perform a continuous assessment at a time agreed with the teacher. However, students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP), if the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account.
