- Knowledge of the course Buiding Technology 1a.
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim is to provide students foundation issue of Construction Technology. The student will be familiar with description and design the various assembly processes (wood, steel, concrete structures), and final works. Student will learn to assess their readiness before implementation, control of technological processes of individual principles of building processes, their sequence and continuity, quality requirements, safety and environmental protection in the course of their implementation.
- Learning outcomes
- Student is be able to know the basics of building technology issues after completing the subject. The student is acquainted with the application and design of individual assembly processes (wood, steel, concrete structures) and finishing works. He / she is able to assess their readiness for implementation, to manage the principles of the technological processes of the individual construction processes, their sequence and continuity, requirements for their quality, safety and protection of the environment during their implementation.
- Syllabus
- 1) Rough superstructure - production processes and installation of reinforced concrete structures
- 2) Rough superstructure - production processes and assembly of steel structures
- 3) Introduction to the interior, assembly and finishing processes
- 4) Implementation of partitions and instalation processes
- 5) Implementation of building insulation
- 6) Implementation of fillings
- 7) Surfacing of building construction - interior and exterior plaster
- 8) Technology of cladding thermal insulation of buildings
- 9) The implementation of internal and external cladding
- 10) Implementation of the ceiling
- 11) Implementation of floors and tiles
- 12) Painting and coating walls, wood and steel structures
- 13) Completion of craft work
- Grading of the course: Seminar Work : maximum 30% (0-30 points), Project: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A: 100 – 98, B: 97,99 – 91, C: 90,99 – 80, D: 79,99 – 73, E: 72,99 – 70, FX: 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.
