Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to improve the language competence of students and achieve at least the A2+ level according to CEFR. After successful accomplishing ACJ_1 course, the student will be able to understand phases and common vocabulary relating to areas of his/her immediate needs (i.e. personal information, information about the family, shopping, local geography, employment). He/she can understand the meaning of short, clear news and announcements. He/She can read short simple texts and look up specific, expected information in text encountered on everyday basis.
Learning outcomes
He/She can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters. He/She can read short simple texts and find specific and predictable information in them. He/She can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information. He/She can connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe events and experiences. He/She can write a simple personal letter.

Exam conditions
Grading of the course for full-time students: Final Test 70% (0 – 70 points) and dialogue 30% (0-30). The final test requires A2+ level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points (from both parts together). Part-time students: Final Test: maximum 100% (0-100 points) Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points (70%).
