Prerequisites
MAX_KOMBINOVANYCH(60) && MAX_PREZENCNICH(36)
It is recommended to have knowledge of the area: a) building materials (having knowledge of the structure and basic properties of building materials and their use), b) building construction (knowledge of the lower structure and its relation to the geological and hydrogeological parameters of the subsoil; of vertical and horizontal load-bearing structures of buildings; have knowledge of assembly constructions, their interaction with the supporting structure and the most common defects and malfunctions) , c) structural mechanics, elasticity (power and torque effects, have an idea of balance regularities bodies and their systems, to tackle stress and deformation of rods and plates), d) building physics (the thermal bridges, internal surface temperatures, diffusion and condensation of water vapor) e) concrete and masonry structures (concrete mixtures and factors affecting their properties (the design elements of concrete and masonry structures), f) metal and wooden structures (the design elements of wooden and metal structures and to understand the links between structural mechanics and design of these elements) g) soil mechanics and geology (composition of soils and rocks and their mechanical properties, have an idea of stress and strain in soils).
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Getting comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge from the area of reconstruction and adaptation of buildings and structures. Characteristic faults and structure defects. Exploration and evaluation of construction and technical condition of the building.
