- The aim of the course is to get acqainted with the possibilities of using sociological and psychological knowledge in business management, business culture and management. A graduate is able to describe basic social processes, s/he understands the field of institutional issues, s/he can identify with attitudes of an interpreted social group. S/he can design and formulate appropriate methods and techniques of research in sociology and sociometry. These methods and strategies s/he can appropriately implement into practice. Theoretical knowledge s/he practices in managerial, economic and business professions.

- 1. Principles of general psychology, psychological schools (behaviourism, humane psychology ….)
- 2. Psychology of personality, structure of personality, personality and motivation
- 3. Self-conception, self - esteem, assertive behaviour
- 4. Personality in social relations, socialization, learning process, personality of a manager, a worker
- 5. Exacting life situation, conflicts in the workplace, interpersonal terms in working groups
- 6. Work psychology, motivational agents of job performance
- 7. Efficient evaluation and motivation of workers, management styles
- Sociology:
- 8. Principal trends in sociology development
- 9. Social stratification, social status, social role, ritualized behaviour
- 10. Institution and organization, social systems, conception of state, policy, exercise of the authority
- 11. Social Standards, social deviation, social control, its forms
- 12. Social and professional mobility, culture and social development, multiculturalism
