Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
After finishing the course the student:
-can characterize the manufacturing, financial and investment activities of the undertaking; -is able to calculate the planned and actual production capacity, total time and the power capacity utilisation
-defines the objectives and key areas of financial management and distinguishes between the main types of short-and long term financial decision-making;
-can define the purpose, methods and procedures of the financial analysis;
-in the area of investment decision-making   can identify capital expenditures and cash income from   investments and to evaluate the effectiveness of simpler investment projects.
Learning outcomes
The graduate understands the influence of the time factor on the value of money, evaluates the possibilities of financing investment projects from internal and external sources, optimizes the investment portfolio of the company and evaluates the efficiency of investments.

Exam conditions
Grading of the course: First Test: maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.
