For the administration of professional practice, the VŠTE Information System uses an application called “Practice” (hereinafter referred to as the “Practice Application”). This application is available in the VŠTE Information System (hereinafter referred to as “IS”). Access to the practice application is provided to students in connection with the enrolment in the administrative course “Practice Administration” with the code “APX”. Course enrolment is generally governed by the currently valid academic year schedule. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- The aim is to reinforce the professional practice and application of knowledge in vocational subjects and practical learning habits and skills needed to perform the chosen profession.
- Learning outcomes
- In order to successfully complete the Professional Practice course, students are required to fulfill the learning outcomes listed below.
Based on the courses: Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Corporate Finance, and Human Resource Management.
For the Production Economist specialization, in addition to the basic subjects, the following subjects are also required: Methods of Production Process Management and Planning, and Automation and Design of Logistics Production Processes.
For the Product and Value Management specialization, in addition to the basic subjects, the following subjects are also required: Product Management and Value Management.
Student:
- is able to analyze the specifics of selected specific economies,
- is able to analyze the external and internal environment of a company using appropriate analytical tools and approaches,
- is able to apply project management in specific conditions of a company with a focus on production processes (in the case of the Production Economist specialization) - will learn the objectives, principles, specifics, and trends of production process management (in the case of the Production Economist specialization) - can appropriately apply methods in the design of production process automation (in the case of the Production Economist specialization)
- be able to apply product and production process innovations (in the case of the Product and Value Management specialization)
- be able to apply an appropriate pay-out policy
- be able to manage the value of a company, where the top indicators are FCFF, FCFE, EVA Equity, EVA Entity, and corporate finance risks
- can apply the company's business model using the Canvas business model,
- masters the basic terminology in the field of value management (in the case of the Product and Value Management specialization)
- understands the principles and approaches within value management as an independent/management style (in the case of the Product and Value Management specialization) - masters the principles and rules within the complex process of human resource management,
- is able to apply advanced scientific methods in business practice – in the collection, processing, and interpretation of data. - Syllabus

- REGISTRATION FOR PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
(1) Students are required to familiarize themselves with the standards for completing professional practice.(2) Registration for professional practice is possible from the third semester of study at the earliest.
(3) Students must register for professional practice by enrolling in the administrative course "Practice Administration" with the code "APX" for the given semester, which automatically confirms that they will begin professional practice in the given period in accordance with the requirements of their study program. Enrollment in the "APX" course is considered official confirmation of commencement of the internship and serves as the starting point for further administrative and organizational steps. Enrollment in the course takes place during the course enrollment period specified in the current academic year schedule. The procedure for enrolling in the course is the same as for enrolling in other courses, i.e., in the Student section - Course Registration and Enrollment - Add Courses according to the template or by entering the code.
(4) The deadlines for enrolling in the course are set according to the current schedule of the relevant AR.
FULL-TIME FORM - PROCEDURE
(1) Information about the assigned company is available to students in the Internship application in the IS. The assignment of a student to a specific company is considered final and binding upon confirmation of the internship location.(2) Students of the full-time master's degree program in Business Economics and Business Administration complete the first 4 weeks of their internship at the company assigned to them by the Department.
