Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to familiarize students with the issues of transport telematics (Intelligent Transport Systems and Services – ITS) which integrates information and telecommunication technologies with traffic engineering with the support of other related branches (economics, transport theory, system engineering, etc.) to ensure modern transport management systems for the current transport infrastructure. The graduate is able to apply telematics to the road network.

Transport parameters for transport telematics 6. Relationship between a transport policy and transport telematics 7. An application of telematics in multimodal transport 8. An application of telematic systems in the integrated transport systems 9. Electronic check-in systems 10. Telematic information systems 11. Directives and other standards of the EU and the CR in the field of transport telematics 12. Significant transport telematics projects 13. Integrated traffic information system, ITVM
