Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the principles of design and implementation of engineering structures, ie structures for transport structures (bridges, culverts, etc.) chimneys, masts, tanks, silos, industrial floors, etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to independently design engineering structures.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the issue of transport structures 2. Introduction to terminology for bridge structures, traffic loads 3. Problems of designing high-rise structures (chimneys, masts) steel, concrete, wind load, temperature, icing 4. Problems of reservoir design, high, low 5. Solution of forces 6. Designing an industrial floor as a slab on a flexible base, a special solution for wire concrete
