LLL plan description

  • Presentation of the LLL plan (learning objectives)
    The aim of the course is to achieve an A1 exit level according to the CEFR for languages. After completing the course, graduates are able to communicate in basic areas of everyday life that directly concern them. A course graduate can communicate with possible assistance from the other party, can respond in a limited way during social conversations, manage simple communication in routine tasks through short questions and answers, understand simple texts, and provide basic information about themselves or another person both orally and in writing.
  • Learning Outcomes

    Upon successful completion of the course, students: 

    - Are able to communicate in everyday situations that consist of exchange of simple information (personal data, timetable, plans); 

     - are able to use social language and phrases in simple situations with the help of other participants; 

    - can understand the main points in short and simple messages and announcements (with authorities, in shops and banks); 

     - understand the main ideas in news and are able to respond to simple technical information and instructions (in their job); 

     - understand simple informative texts; 

     - are able to fill in forms concerning personal information or schedules

  • Occupational Profiles of Graduates
    A graduate of the M1 course will achieve all the required general competencies in speech skills (writing, speaking, reading, and listening). 
  • Admission conditions
    Participation in the course has no specific educational requirements. The entry prerequisite for the course is basic user knowledge of working with a PC.
  • Course of education

    The course is taught in a face-to-face format. The language of instruction is Czech.

    · Direct instruction

    · Group work – cooperation

    · Independent work – individual or personalized activities

    · Instruction supported by multimedia technologies

    Course Attendance Requirement: Attendance must be at least 80%.

  • Conditions of graduation

    Written and Oral Examination After Completing the Course


    1. Written Part: Completing a short form

    2. Oral Part: It will have 2 sections:

    a) A personal interview

    b) An interview verifying the handling of specific model situations

    Final Examination Assessment: A minimum success rate of 60% (for both oral and written exams)
