- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic technical terminology and legislation in the field of packaging, shipping and packaging of goods. The student is able to explain the role of packaging, shipping and packaging of goods in the logistics chain, describe the packing materials depending on the type of goods and means of transport and transport, enumerate and explain the principles and methods of identification of goods using barcode system radio - frequency identification products (RFID), including new guidelines for the development and use of automatic identification and assess basic requirements for methods of packaging and environmental aspects of packaging and packaging goods.
- Learning outcomes
- Graduate of the course: - can explain the role of packaging, transport means and packaging of goods in the logistics chain; - describe the packaging materials used, depending on the type of goods and mode of transport and transport; - to enumerate and explain the principles and methods for identifying goods using barcodes, the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, including new directions of development and the use of automatic identification; - to assess the basic requirements for packaging methods and environmental aspects of packaging and packaging of goods.
