The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
- understand different types of technical and general texts,
- deduct meanings of unknown words from context,
- understand detailed information from listening, take notes,
- have command of technical vocabulary related to the topics covered,
- create a professional presentation on a professional topic
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to increase the level of german language to B2 according to CEFR in all relevant skills. After successful completion of the course, the students are able to understand lectures on professional topic, are able to follow a complex exchange of views, understand report and articles concerning the topic discusses, are able to express their opinions and bring arguments. They do not mistakes that could cause misunderstanding the message. The students are able to create a professional presentation, express and defend their point of view, give examples.

Účast na výuce ve všech formách řeší samostatná vnitřní norma VŠTE (Evidence docházky studentů na VŠTE). Pro studenty prezenční formy studia je na seminářích a cvičeních povinná 70% účast.
