- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The course objective is to deepen student´s language knowledge to the level B2- of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. After the successful completion of the course, students are able to: understand extended speech and follow even complex arguments, understand articles dealing with contemporary problems, present a detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects and interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, write clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects.
- Learning outcomes
- He/She can understand extended speech provided the topic is reasonably familiar. He/She can understand in detail texts within his/her field of interest and the area of professional specialization. He/She can present clear detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to his/her field of interests and study. He/She can write a clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects related to his/her interests.

- Test – mid-term 30 %
Test – final 70 % - Exam conditions
- Grading of the course both for part-time and full-time students: an exam during the semester, written test in the examination period. The final test requires B2- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Successful graduates of the course have to get at least 70 points (from both parts together). The final test includes the questions within the range of the level B2- (not only based on the textbook).

- tudents are required to actively participate in lessons and complete assigned tasks. ACJ_4 covers units 5-7 of the compulsory course book. Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of student attendance at ITB). Full-time students are obliged to attend 70 % of the lessons. In case the student did not comply with the requirements necessary to pass the test, he/she is entitled to take a second test in case he achieved at least 30 % of the requirements. Those who hold international certificates at least at B2 level and thouse who can prove having attended a similar course in terms of content, number of lessons and requirements can be considered as if they have completed the course if they apply officially.
