- The aim of the course is to prepare students for academic writing, thesis and provide them with professional support. After successful completion of the course students will be able to independently deal with a selected topic by using their own expertise and skills, professional publications and internal materials of companies. They will be able to make and defend their conclusions.
- Learning outcomes
- After successfully completing the subject, the student will be able to: Describe the issues connected to the thesis topic. defend the theoretical fundaments and create conclusions of the thesis. Apply advanced scientific methods, • evaluate and process experimental research. Conduct scientific projects. She/he can conduct independent creative and research activities Can carry out the suggested tasks and framework of a Bachelor’s thesis Can formulate research questions, hypotheses, look for methods and apply them Can collect data and ready it for analysis and evaluation Can present and defend a Bachelor’s thesis.

- Selection of the topic of scientific text. The structure of the text. (Authors, supervisors, heading, content of the thesis, application in IS, annotation, abstract, review, essay)
- The design of thesis
- Information systems. (PC and scientific text, printed electronic sources, libraries, research, text editors)
- Bibliographic citations, citation ISO 690. (bibliography, bibliographic managers, quotes, citations, footnotes, bibliography)
- Sources and text research. (information collection, interpretation and criticism of the source, notes, archives, resources)
- Formal editing of academic texts. (Language, grammar, style, Appendixes)
- Definition of the objective of thesis
- Definition, verification and validation of hypotheses. (structure of academic text)
