- The aim of the course is to make students familiar with the methods of measurements and methodology of problem solving in the field of transport and logistics. At the end of the course students will be able to indetify basic experimental methods, assess the experimental process complexity, and to design the related technical solutions.
- Syllabus
- 1. Experimental theory fundamentals, proble solving process, conducting a practical technical experiment 2. Measurements and assessment fundamental principles, error and tolerance and uncertainty identification 3. Experimental unit(s) and process observations 4. Reliability methods analysis, diagnostics, logic chain reliability related issues 5. Reliability and diagnostic economic aspects 6. Experimental methods and computer modeling 7. Use of experimental methods in the process of creating the transport system simulation models 8. Use of experimental methods in the process of creating the public service simulation models 9. Use of experimental methods in the process of creating the logistics systems simulation models 10. Experimental methods and measurement in transport technology 11. Transport processes and logistics systems analysis and experimental load identification 12. Manufacturing systems simulations and modeling. Selected experimental methods in the field of mechanics, numerical methods, memory analysis, final elements analysis, material and constructions testing in transportation, tensometric methods, fotoelasticimetry.
