Anotace
This study aims to determine the changes in summer holiday plans of the Czechs in 2020 as well as their preferences concerning summer holiday destinations and accommodation as a reaction to the first set of tough restrictions adopted by the Czech government during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020. The survey included a random sample of 637 respondents. The findings show the shift towards domestic tourism and might be helpful for destination management, accommodation facilities owners, as well as for researchers examining the impact of the coronavirus crisis on consumer decisions in the hospitality and tourism industry.
