Příspěvek je věnován strategiím učení a vyučování, jejich vlivu na efektivitu cizojazyčného vyučování. Strategie ovlivňují cizojazyčnou výuku v terciální sféře jak přímo, tak i nepřímo; hrají zásadní roli při nabývání cizojazyčné komunikační kompetenci, při rozoji jazykových dovedností - čtení, psaní, poslechu a mluvení.

The paper deals with learning and teaching strategies within foreign language education and their consequences for effective language teaching. The strategies influence the language education in post high-school sphere both immediately and implicitly; they play an important role in development of language skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking and thus influence the gaining of the foreign language communication competence.
