The aim of this paper is to compare the accuracy of time series alignment by means of regression analysis and neural networks on the example of the trade balance of the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China. This is a monthly balance starting in 2000 and ending in July 2018.

Cílem příspěvku je porovnat přesnost zarovnání časových řad pomocí regresní analýzy a neuronových sítí na příkladu obchodní bilance České republiky a Čínské lidové republiky. Používají se údaje o obchodní bilanci mezi Českou republikou a Čínskou lidovou republikou. Jedná se o měsíční bilance začínající v roce 2000 a končící v červenci 2018.
